Ciradian rythms exist in all types of organisms.
In humans it coordinate mental and physical systems
It is found in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) inside the hipothalamus. During the day, at diferent hours, clock genes in the SCN send signals to regulate activity in the body. SCN is sensitive to exerciese, light, social activity, and temperature.
